It seems like every day I have people reaching out to me asking for help & advice. By 10:30am today I had . . .
- a phone call with a contractor looking to grow his business.
- 2 FB messages from online marketers who can’t get clients and want help.
- 1 email from a colleague who wants to pay me to teach him what I know about XYZ . . .
They’re all seeking out a certain type of INFORMATION, because they know it will help them get to where they want to go.
…there is one thing that has become so apparent to me in the last 12 months as I’ve started to really get the legs on my business moving:
- Information is everything.
It’s the difference between a small income & a large income, an easy path to success or a difficult path to success, scaling an online business to $3k/mo vs. $30k/mo and beyond . . .
A few weeks ago I went to Las Vegas and paid good money to hear other business owners talk about what they’re doing and how it’s working.
Yes, it was a decent sized investment to travel and attend the event . . .
. . . And it’s gonna pay off in multiples.
For instance, ONE simple tactic I learned from that event is going to allow me to add another $1,500/mo per client service to my business.
I’m testing it out with a new client today.
And if it all goes well, I’ll go offer it to 5 other clients next week.
So maybe my trip to Vegas totaling $5k or something with all things considered, will end up making me $10k+/mo in a matter of a few weeks, and even more within a couple months.
. . . I bought some information and now I’m cashing in on it.
Are you doing the same?
I remember making my first investment in an online marketing training course.
August 16th, 2016.
I signed up for a $5,000 online training program, on a payment plan, with less than $1k in the bank while holding down a job that didn’t pay so well.
But I took the information from that training, applied it immediately, started making a return, paid off my tuition in 45 days and that’s how my marketing company was born.
I’ve since spent over $20k on online trainings, mentorships and courses, and I’ve taken bits of INFORMATION away from each of those programs that has led to yet another increase in income or a better understanding of how this advertising business works.
NEVER underestimate the value of information, especially when it comes from those who are in a position that you want to be in someday.
Learn from those who have been where you want to go.
Going back to my favorite quote . . .
